Please reach me at [email protected] if you can't find an answer to your question.
I am based in Bristol, UK, so I can work in-person with you if you live in Bristol or surrounding areas. I also provide online decluttering sessions so I can usually help you over Zoom no matter where you are.
A definition of clutter is a lot of disorganised things in one place or "visual busyness". This can mean different things to different people as we all have unique clutter thresholds.
A PO brings a neutral perspective and no emotional attachment to your items. I can see the potential of a space with fresh eyes and how to achieve the desired result, which can be more difficult for someone familiar with the possessions and sentimental attachment.

Every project is different. Some people have goals that are achievable in half a day. Larger projects may require multiple sessions. Other factors may include any mobility, environmental health or access issues. We will start with a free consultation.
Although it's not essential, I strongly recommend that you are present. Why? Only you know how you prefer to use your space. Even if you have already decluttered, there are still often items that require a decision that only you can make. However, once this stage of the project has been completed, I can organise the remaining items for you.
White Space POD is not a cleaning service but I will wipe down the surface we're working on.
White Space POD provides in-person sessions within Bristol (UK) and surrounding areas within a 30 minute drive. Online declutter coaching sessions are available to anyone in nearly any location.
Yes! I have volunteered with a fantastic charity called We Care: Making Space, which supports residents of Bristol, Bath and Gloucester with hoarding tendencies. This is a valuable service, and you can find out more here.
Of course! Let’s have a chat about your goals, your challenges and get organised.
Absolutely not! It is your space, your items and YOU are fully in control. My role is to support and guide you, remind you of the goal you want to achieve and to gently coach you if you are struggling to reach a decision.
Yes generally. There are a few exceptions but I would cover this is our consultation.
I can take away a car load of items from each session.
Yes absolutely. There are so many great initiatives to reduce, re-use and recycle items now. There are often many community groups who really appreciate your unwanted things.
Yes I do. I have an obligation to dispose of waste responsibly.
Working with a Professional Organiser is an investment in your wellbeing, your environment and your mental health. There are many benefits to getting organised, including discovering items you can sell meaning you could offset or even cover the cost of the service.
No, I'd advise you not to. It’s so tempting to buy baskets, boxes and organisers but it's wise to hold off until after decluttering. My clients often find they already have something that will do the trick and saves them money. Also, if you wait until you know exactly how you want to arrange things, you can take accurate measurements or decide on an appropriate amount or colour scheme.
It takes courage to ask for help and it is an honour to be invited into someone’s home to help them with their possessions, particularly where there is a bereavement and emotions can be raw. My intention is to provide help with no judgement, just empathy, kindness and confidentiality. I will always have a call with you before making any booking which gives an opportunity to see if you are comfortable working with me.
If for any reason you feel that we are not well-aligned, you will be able to search the APDO directory for an alternative Professional Organiser.
