The story behind White Space

As a former Project Manager with a career spanning property management, change management and leading a company culture change programme, I've always been pretty organised. My varied career history has provided valuable experiences which have woven together and led me to what I absolutely LOVE to do now. As a Professional Organiser & Certified Life Coach I get to help my clients navigate change, improve how they feel about their homes and ultimately improve their wellbeing.

So, if I was so organised, why did my own home get out of control whenever life got...well, complicated? I was inspired to start White Space POD after noticing how life changes had a direct impact on my own clutter and disorganisation.

So I went to the experts to find out more. I was keen to learn about the link between our physical and mental clutter so I volunteered for a charity called We Care: Making Space
(https://wecr.org.uk/help_advice/making-space-help-with-hoarding/) in Bristol, which provides valuable support to people with hoarding tendencies.

The training and experience gave me a good understanding of the mental health challenges involved and the patience and compassion needed to help.

APDO, the UK’s membership association for decluttering and organising professionals, sets standards, provides professional development and supports the growth of the industry.

As well as being a Member, I also Volunteer with the APDO Marketing team.

Becky was very professional, sorted what was needed and what should be cleared away without any judgement or pressure. Everything is more manageable and easier to access. I highly recommend this service!
